EOS resource management¶
There are three resources of EOS: CPU, NET, and RAM.
CPU, NET: Users need to pledge CPU and NET if they want to redeem tokens that can’t be withdrawn.
RAM: The total amount is limited but can be expended. The development of Dapp needs the RAM resources, and creating accounts also needs RAM. As regulated in the contract, the EOS mainnet will charge 0.5% of service charge for RAM transaction. RAM cannot be transferred, which means that users can only trade RAM with the system.
Tips: First, if you want to buy RAM, please make sure you have an EOS account, and there are EOS assets in your account. If you do not have an EOS account in your Bitpie wallet, you can import you EOS account by importing private key and then start RAM trade. Choose EOS as the import token type.
